Special Fried Rice

Here's how to make Chinese takeaway special fried rice in under 30 minutes with this recipe. It's super quick and tastes so good too!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 250 g Cooked Jasmine Rice (Packet Rice or 1 Day Old Rice)
  • 50 g King Prawns
  • 50 g Chicken (Breast Or Thighs)
  • 50 g Char Siu Pork (Cooked)
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Spring Onion
  • 50 g Peas
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • ½ tsp Sesame Oil

Instructions
 

  • Add oil to a large wok heated on a medium to high heat.

  • Add garlic, chicken, char siu and prawns and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
    50 g King Prawns, 50 g Chicken (Breast Or Thighs), 1 tsp Garlic, 50 g Char Siu Pork
  • Then add the peas and stir-fry for a further 30 seconds.
    50 g Peas
  • Push everything to one side of the wok. Add the egg, let it cook for a few seconds before scrambling it into small pieces.
    2 Eggs
  • Push everything to one side of the wok. Add the rice to the empty space, use the back of your spoon to break up any clumps. Then, stir-fry everything together for about 30 seconds, ensuring they are well combined.
    250 g Cooked Jasmine Rice
  • Add the diced spring onions and stir-fry for a further 15 seconds.
    1 Spring Onion
  • Add the soy sauce and sesame oil to the wok and stir fry until the rice turns a golden-brown colour. Remove from the heat and enjoy!
    2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce, ½ tsp Sesame Oil
