Cook your chips however you want (I use oven chips). Start this recipe 2 to 3 minutes before the chips are done cooking.
500 g Cooked Chips
In a small mixing bowl, add ketchup, lemon juice and all the spices listed in the ingredients. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
3 tbsp Ketchup, ½ tsp Turmeric, 1 tsp Curry Powder, ½ tsp Salt, ½ tsp Garam Masala, ½ tsp Coriander Power, 1 tsp Lemon Juice, 1 tsp Chilli Powder
Heat a wok or saucepan on a medium to high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Once the oil is heated, add the garlic to the pan and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
1 tbsp Cooking Oil, 2 tsp Garlic Paste
Add the ketchup mixture and stir until evenly distributed. Leave the mixture to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to help thicken the sauce and to cook out the spices.Stir constantly to prevent burning. Add the cooked chips to the wok or saucepan and toss them into the sauce until they are evenly coated. Finish by sprinkling some fresh coriander over the top, and your masala chips are ready to enjoy!
Fresh Coriander (To Garnish)
