Here's how to make the best Lotus Biscoff mug cake in the microwave. This easy recipe has no egg or sugar, it takes 5 minutes to make and it tastes so good.

  • Place the Biscoff spread into a mug and microwave for 15 seconds on a high heat.
  • Add plain flour, baking powder, milk and vegetable oil into the mug.
  • Mix the ingredients together with a fork until evenly distributed, make sure to scrape the sides and the bottom of the mug.
  • Place the mug in the microwave and heat on full power for 1 minute at first, if it’s not done continue to microwave in short 10 second bursts.
    It took me 1 minute and 10 seconds in my microwave.

Notes

For a large mug, double the recipe ingredients and microwave for 1 minute and 45 seconds then check if it's cooked. If it's not done, continue to microwave in short 10 second bursts. Be careful when taking the mug cake out of the microwave, it might be hot to touch!
