If you’re using a loaf of bread, cut the bread into thick slices. They should be roughly 5cm thick.
For each slice, cut a small slit in one of the sides. The slit should be in the middle of the side and reach the centre of the bread.Watch the video to see how I did this.
In a mixing bowl add milk, caster sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and an egg. Whisk until combined.
Melt the Biscoff spread in the microwave for a few seconds, it should be slightly runny.
Using a spoon or piping bag, pipe the Biscoff mixture into the slits made.
Heat a frying pan on a low to medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter (add more if necessary).
Dip the slices of bread (on both sides) into the French toast batter and fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown on each side. Add your toppings and enjoy!
