Peanut Butter & Honey Granola
This easy granola is incredibly tasty and very customisable, add in whatever extras you like! Here’s how I make mine…

As a Greek-style yoghurt and granola fanatic, I decided to make my own granola from scratch. And honestly, I’m sitting here wondering why I haven’t done this sooner!!!
I chose a delicious peanut butter and honey base, added two types of seeds, and chucked in a couple roasted peanuts for that extra nutty taste and crunch.
You can literally add in whatever you like to your mix. So, if you like a little bit of chocolate or a generous helping of dried fruit, add that right in!

Recipe Ingredients
Below are the ingredients I used to make this recipe:
- Oats: Use standard porridge oats or jumbo oats, this is down to personal preference. For this recipe I used jumbo oats.
- Honey & Peanut Butter: This is what binds everything together.
- Spices: I only added cinnamon but feel free to add other spices such as nutmeg or extracts such as vanilla extract.
- Seeds: I added chia seeds and pumpkin seeds
- Nuts: I added lightly salted roasted peanuts.
How To Make Homemade Granola
Here’s a summary of how I make this granola. You can get the full recipe instructions on the recipe card below:

I start by melting peanut butter and honey in the microwave then mix them thoroughly until combined.
Next, I add my oats, seeds, nuts and spices such as cinnamon. I give everything a good mix before I pour the granola on my lined baking tray and pat it down to condense the mixture.
Then I bake it in the oven for 15 minutes. Once it has cooled down completely, I break it into chunky pieces.
My Top Tips
Make sure you mix the oat mixture thoroughly after adding the peanut butter and honey, this is what binds everything together.
I press the granola into a flat sheet so I can control the size of the clusters when I break it apart. Alternatively, you can simply sprinkle the mix onto the baking tray and bake it as it naturally clumps.
Use flavoured honey (like honey infused cinnamon), it adds sweetness and spice in one step.
I like to store this dish in an airtight container and eat it within 5 to 7 days.
If the granola is browning on one side quicker than the other, turn the baking tray, halfway into the cooking time to ensure an even colour.
How To Serve
On top of Greek-style yoghurt of course! I also like to add extra fruit such as bananas, strawberries and blueberries. You can also snack on it whenever you like, I certainly do.
If you’re looking for a fancy addition, try caramelised bananas or apples and place them right next to your homemade granola.
