Cookie Croissant (Le Crookie)

Here's how to make the viral cookie croissant, AKA le crookie. This recipe tastes exceptionally good and is easy to make too!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 4 Croissants
  • 250 g Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C Fan, gas mark 4) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Slice the croissants in the middle lengthways, try not to cut all the way through.

  • Place a generous amount of cookie dough on one side of the croissant then close the croissant like a book.
    250 g Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Add extra cookie dough on top.
  • Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cookie dough is brown around the edges and gooey in the middle.

How To Store

I store my leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 to 3 days. When reheating, you can warm the crookies in the oven or microwave for a few seconds, or you can enjoy them as they are.
