- 170 g Plain Flour
- 170 ml Milk
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 tbsp Caster Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Melted Butter
- Pancake toppings of your choice
In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt and give it a little mix together.
Get a separate mixing bowl, add your butter and microwave for 20 seconds or until just melted. Add the milk and egg to your melted butter and mix to combine.
Pour the wet mixture to the mixing bowl with dry ingredients and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and add a generous amount of oil. Pour over 2-3 tablespoons of pancake batter. Heat for 2 minutes or until golden brown. (The top of the pancake will begin to bubble, that’s a good indicator to know when to flip your pancakes). Once flipped heat for about 1 minute. Repeat with the remaining pancake batter.
Serve your pancakes with an array of toppings of your choice, best served fresh and warm from the pan.
